Question 1

Is this Image to PDF tool free to use?

Accepted Answer

Yes — it's free, with no sign-up and no account. The limits listed below apply to every PDF you create.

Question 2

Are my images uploaded anywhere?

Accepted Answer

No. Your images are processed in your browser and never uploaded.

Question 3

What are the limits?

Accepted Answer

Each image can be up to 25 MB, and one PDF can hold up to 50 images, 100 MB in total. These are practical processing limits for working in your browser, so a PDF of many large photos can still be slow or fail on some devices.

Question 4

Which image types can I turn into a PDF?

Accepted Answer

JPG, PNG and WebP. The tool checks what is inside each file rather than trusting its name, so a file that only has a .jpg ending but isn't a real image is flagged in the list. Each image becomes one page, so the PDF has as many pages as there are images in the list.

Question 5

Can I choose the order of the pages?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Use the Move up and Move down buttons on each image to set the order, and remove any image you don't want. The PDF follows the list from top to bottom. Adding, removing or reordering images, or changing the page size, orientation or margin, clears the previous result, so the download always matches what you see.

Question 6

What do the page size, orientation and margin options do?

Accepted Answer

Fit to image makes each page the size of its image. A4 and Letter give every page that paper size and scale each image to fit it, without cropping or stretching. With A4 or Letter, orientation can match each image (a wide image gets a landscape page), or be portrait or landscape for every page. The margin keeps white space between each image and the edge of the page, or, with Fit to image, adds a border around it.

Question 7

What happens to transparent images and to photo quality?

Accepted Answer

See-through areas of a PNG or WebP are filled with white. PNG images stay lossless. JPG and WebP images are saved into the PDF as high-quality JPG, so their file size can differ from the original. An image whose longest side is over 4,000 pixels is reduced to that size, with the same shape, and the result tells you when that happened.
